Lots of people are tricked easily every day - not just at Halloween. One way people can trick you is by telling you a lie (of course, this is not a nice trick) - we can even lie to ourselves sometimes!
is often very scary (because we don’t know how it will happen to us) and also very sad (because we will
miss the people we know and love) - we don’t like to think about it. However, death is the most certain thing that will happen to everyone (10 out of 10 people die), but we don’t know exactly when our time will come.
The reality is, tomorrow is not a guarantee for anyone.
How can we have peace, to know where we will go when we die?
God desires all people to humbly turn to Him. But we have a problem. All people have disobeyed/sinned
against God. We have not lived rightly (like telling lies, stealing, disobeying parents. misusing God’s Holy
Name and even murder!). This has brought about death and destruction all over the world. God says, in His Word, The Holy Bible, “He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with His truth.” Psalm 96:13 and “it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” Hebrews 9:27
God should punish us for every wrong word, action and thought we do (in hell - God’s eternal prison). HOWEVER, God is patient and has made a way for you and I to get right with Him and to enter heaven (far more amazing than any treat in this world): God sent His sinless Son, Jesus Christ into the world. Jesus died on the Cross to pay the fine for the sins of all who will trust in Him. He was dead and buried, but rose from the grave on the third day, defeating the power of sin and death. He calls you to turn from sin (repent) and trust in Him alone for forgiveness. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16. Read the Gospel of John (found in the Bible) to find out what Jesus has done. Jesus said “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3. Tomorrow is not guaranteed - Turn to Him today!
