Who does God reveal his secrets to - is no secret! I will seek to show you exactly who God reveals secret things to in this article!

A team of us (this time we had nine people) did a Gospel outreach in Southampton today (Saturday). (an Open Air Mission outreach, headed up by Will Goddard.)

"to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God" Colossians 2:2

It was encouraging today to yet again have a such a big team. But what was especially encouraging was to be joined by someone who had never done the work before.

"Zealous of good works."

Daniel, young in the faith, desired to come along to the outreach for the first time. It was clear to see that not only did he enjoy the different times that a team member preached, but he was very

approaching people at the bench, about the Gospel

keen to get the word of God into peoples hands too. Keen to go after those who seemed to be interested in the preaching, Daniel would also walk up to people sat at benches to convey the Name of Jesus to them.

Could I encourage you, if you do not get involved in such work - prayerfully give it a go. It is a blessing to many, and one of the many ways that God pours out His grace on His people. Why not hand out Gospel tracts to people on the streets? - we can supply these to you for free.

If you are still hesitant to do this work in person, why not begin with doing witnessing to people online or by writing to people? Perhaps watch some videos of people speaking the Gospel to others.

Why not get in touch with us and we can help you, or point you in the right direction of works already happening your area. Comment below if you go out and witness to people for the first time - we would love to hear how you get on!

For those of you who do already do this work - Praise God! Why not encourage others to join you?

God's secrets revealed

It is our hearts desire that every person we meet with on an outreach comes to know the mystery of God - "of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."

Today, something wonderful happened. A busker (pictured) who one month ago was proud and hostile to the Gospel (someone who God does not reveal secrets to), humbled himself and approached two team members to speak with them calmly of the Gospel. Click here to read of the time when he was proud.

A more humbled man, seeking the truth

"God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble." 1 Peter 5:5

This man has seen and heard us, week after week, month after month and has never to my knowledge engaged with us in any humble way. Today he took away a Gospel of John and a Gospel flyer with a greatful heart. Asking questions - seeking.

Please pray for this dear man, that he will know the secret of Christ in his heart through his humility - though he is materially poor (I think he may be homeless), may he be rich in the things of Christ. When busking, he sings all manner of songs of this world - Please pray he may soon sing praises to our God in heaven for His glorious gift of the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sins!

Many other conversations were had today and literature handed out. Please take a moment to pray for those who were offered God's mercy found in Christ alone.

For His Glory,

-Nigel, Printing Evangelism
